20th Annual Live Nativity, Behold the Lamb


    THIS COMMUNITY WILL OPEN THE HOLIDAY SEASON WITH THE 20TH ANNUAL LIVE NATIVITY, BEHOLD THE LAMB. PERFORMANCES WILL BE TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 28TH THROUGH SATURDAY, DECEMBER 2ND AT THE VAN BUREN COUNTY FAIR GROUNDS. LOCAL CHILDREN AND ANIMALS PERFORM TWICE EACH NIGHT AT 6:00 P.M. AND 7:00 P.M. COME DRESSED FOR THE WEATHER. COCOA AND COFFEE WILL BE SERVED AND THE NELSONS WILL SING BETWEEN PERFORMANCES. THIS GREAT EVENT IS FREE. FOR MORE INFORMATION, CALL PAUL AT 745-8377.


Shady Grove Baptist Church Community Singing


    THE SHADY GROVE BAPTIST CHURCH WILL HAVE A COMMUNITY SINGING ON FRIDAY, DECEMBER FIRST WITH A POTLUCK BEGINNING AT 6:00 P.M. AND SINGING AT 7:00 P.M.  BRING YOUR FAVORITE SONG TO SING OR YOUR INSTRUMENT TO PLAY AND JOIN IN.

Ozark Health Foundation Annual Festival of Hope and Lights Gala


    THE ANNUAL FESTIVAL OF HOPE AND LIGHT’S GALA, HELD BY THE OZARK HEALTH FOUNDATION, IS SATURDAY, DECEMBER 9TH AT 6:00 P.M. AT THE FAIRFIELD BAY CONFERENCE CENTER. THE MONEY RAISED ON THIS FUN NIGHT IS USED TO PURCHASE MEDICAL EQUIPMENT FOR USE AT THE HOSPITAL AND NURSING HOME. TICKETS ARE $100 AND ARE ON SALE AT FAYE’S DIAMOND MINE IN CLINTON AND THE SWEET SHOPPE IN FAIRFIELD BAY, OR CALL THE FOUNDATION AT ; 745-9303.

    A FREE MOVIE ABOUT CHRISTMAS, THE POLAR EXPRESS, WILL BE OFFERED AT THE VAN BUREN COUNTY LIBRARY ON SATURDAY, DECEMBER 16TH AT 6:00 P.M. HOT COCOA AND COOKIES WILL BE AVAILABLE. THIS MOVIE IS FOR KIDS AND ADULTS OF ALL AGES.

    A HOLIDAY EXHIBIT IS ON DISPLAY AT THE OZARK HEALTH MEDICAL CENTER. ‘TIS THE SEASON’ IS THE THEME OF THE NORTH CENTRAL ARKANSAS ARTIST LEAGUE EXHIBIT WHICH INCLUDES 40 PAINTINGS BY EIGHT LOCAL ARTISTS. THE PAINTINGS HANG IN THE HALL WAYS NEAR THE CAFETERIA AND THRU THE SKYWALK AND DOWN TO THE GROUND FLOOR. THE EXHIBIT INCLUDES A WIDE VARIETY OF MEDIA AND PRICES RANGE FROM 15 DOLLARS TO THREE HUNDRED AND FIFTY. GO TO THE GIFT SHOP TO MAKE YOUR PURCHASES.

V UACCM Clinton Adult Education Fall Semester Ends


    FALL SEMESTER AT THE UACCM CLINTON ADULT EDUCATION CENTER ENDS ON DECEMBER 19TH. CLASSES ARE OPEN FROM 8:00 A.M. UNTIL 4:30 P.M. MONDAYS THROUGH FRIDAYS FOR STUDENTS AND NEW ENROLLEES TO COMPLETE THEIR STUDY AND EARN THEIR HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA. EVENING CLASSES ARE POSSIBLE.
